Still, there are things you are expected to bring with you–and things that are not allowed in the facility. Serenity House will accept in-kind donations of new or gently-used items to prepare our residents for their transition or to help make their lives more comfortable during their stay at the program. Items including professional clothing for interviews and newly-acquired employment, personal care items and household items for those getting ready to transition to their own housing are always in need. In addition, some of our participants would benefit from cribs, crib mattresses, strollers, clothing for children ages 0 – 1 and maternity wear. These items are always needed and very much appreciated by our residents. In addition, we will accept donations of food, art and office supplies, and some furniture as well as cash donations to help defray the costs of program-related expenses. Spring Hill Recovery Center provides residential treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. However, some conditions may require treatment beyond our capabilities, and we reserve the right to medically discharge a patient for a higher level of mental health care.
